From the Book of Joel
"Sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly. Gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land to the house of the LORD your God; and cry to the LORD.
"Alas for the day! For the day of the LORD is near, and as destruction from the Almighty it comes.
"Is not the food cut off before our eyes, joy and gladness from the house of our God?"

- We are believers. We believe God created us for fellowship with Him and with each other. God's plan of creation included a plan of restoration of our fellowship. This plan occured when God joined humanity in the person of Jesus. Jesus is annointed for this role, thus he is called "Christ."
God allowed His Christ to be killed, as a perfect sacrifice to mankind's rotten ambition and to show God's great goodness. For God raised this man Jesus from death. God has profound love for us.
