National Day of Prayer

The National Day of Prayer is May 6. Our government needs prayer.

President Obama scaled down White House involvement in the Day, eliminating the tradtitional service at the White House in 2009. The Federal Law establishing the Day was deemed uncontitutional by U.S. District Judge Barbara Crabb on April 15, 2010.

President Obama apparently intends to issue a Presidential Proclamation on May 6 this year. We hope the President has repented and will promote at least one day devoted to petitioning the Ruler of the Universe.

May God bless the USA.

Update: Mr Obama did participate in the National Day of Prayer. His proclamation is posted here.
